It's not just the Filtrete 3M Miele KK Vacuum Bags that have this problem. Notice the negative comments concerning the Filtrete 3M Miele FJM Vacuum Bags: (1) "Bags DO NOT fit tightly which creates a mess inside what should be a perfectly clean miele vacuum canister. Very disappointed in Filtrete for putting out such poor quality." - Michael A. (2) "I was so hoping these were going to work out but they didn't. The hole on the 3M is too big to stay on the vacum nozzle." - Ebtagg (3) "Like many others, I got tired of paying $5/bag for Miele bags but didn't want to buy the really cheap knock-offs. These bags, made by 3M which also makes the best furnace filters, seemed to fit the bill. I bought a pack at a brick-and-mortar store, tried out a bag and it seemed to do the job, so I bought another pack on Amazon. When the bag became full and I opened the vacuum cleaner to change it, however, the difference between this product and OME became apparent: the vacuum cleaner was full of dust--gobs of it--which had evidently leaked from the collar..." - PdK
Thanks for this review. I've been using nonMiele bags for years, though not these. I'm almost out and needed to buy more. I'm going back to the originals!
Thank you for your feedback Julie. I'm afraid that only Miele bags TRULY seem to fit, because if I could, I too would use a knock-off bag in order to save money.
